Awards & Honours

A December 2012 Telegraph report said C.R. Hembram was among 12 artists selected from 1,100 entries for a national Lalit Kala Akademi award, with a January 2013 ceremony expected. This is presented here as a reported selection, not as a later independently verified award presentation.

Biography

One 2012 Telegraph profile described C.R. Hembram as based in Ghatshila and, at that time, teaching art at a Navodaya Vidyalaya in Garhwa.

A 2016 Kalasamvaad post credits paintings to CR Hembram (Jharkhand, India). These references are quoted cautiously and should not be read as current biographical details.

Exhibitions

The same Telegraph report said selected works would be displayed at the All India Art Exhibition organized by Lalit Kala Akademi in Bhubaneswar. That is noted here as a planned display reported in 2012, not as independently confirmed attendance.

No other exhibitions were found in the cited sources.
